Join a six-session online journey (90 minutes each) designed for NZ Multicultural Federation members. Build confidence with AI tools, reflect on ethics, and design community-centred projects that put technology to work for people.

Course overview

Across six weeks we move from foundational understanding to practical application. Each live session combines guided demonstrations with collaborative discussion so participants can experiment, share stories, and build strategies that make sense for their communities.

Expect hands-on practice with tools such as ChatGPT and Canva alongside thoughtful kōrero about ethics, accessibility, and culturally grounded use of AI. By the end, every participant will complete a creative or practical mini project.

Weekly journey

Sessions blend live demonstrations, breakout kōrero, and guided challenges to turn insight into action for your local Federation projects. Times automatically adjust to your preferred timezone settings.

Demystify what AI really is, unpack common myths, and explore how it is already shaping community and cultural work.
